Trim Fireplace Media Wall, Miami Area
This project features a full-height fireplace media wall built across two stories. Ceiling height reaches 18 feet. The structure was framed, built out, trimmed, finished, and painted on site. An electric fireplace sits below a custom wood mantel. The TV mounts above, centered within the composition. The wall acts as a vertical focal point and defines the living space.
Project overview
• Two-story fireplace build-out
• Approximate height: 18 feet
• Full wall framing and drywall
• Decorative trim layout with geometric pattern
• Professional paint finish
• Custom solid wood mantel
• Linear electric fireplace
• TV mounting with concealed wiring
Design notes
The trim pattern adds depth without visual noise. Vertical scale balances tall windows and open volume. Neutral paint keeps the wall calm while trim creates shadow and rhythm. The wood mantel adds warmth and contrast against the painted surface.
Construction details
• Stud framing anchored to structural wall
• Reinforced TV and mantel backing
• Clean trim joints and aligned reveals
• Smooth sanding and spray-grade finish
• Fireplace ventilation and access planned in advance
This type of media wall suits modern Florida homes with double-height ceilings. It works well in open layouts where one wall must anchor the entire room.
