PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project features a custom brick fireplace media wall built as a refined fusion of classic materials and modern media wall design. The wall is finished with Old Chicago brick in a whitewashed tone, installed brick by brick with white grout for a clean, timeless look.
The media wall integrates a wide-format electric fireplace framed with black tile, creating a strong visual contrast against the white brick. Two solid wood elements anchor the composition: a floating mantel above the fireplace and a matching wood bench below. Both wood accents were stained in a deep, dark tone and sealed with a protective polyurethane finish.
The structure is designed with multiple depth planes, adding architectural interest while maintaining a balanced, symmetrical layout. A large-format TV is mounted above the mantel, completing a modern entertainment setup within a neoclassical-inspired composition.
This project demonstrates how traditional brickwork can be elevated into a modern fireplace media wall without losing warmth, texture, or character.

DESIGN APPROACH
