This custom slat fireplace media wall was designed and installed in a home in Stuart, Florida, part of the Palm Beach area. The goal of the project was to create a clean architectural TV wall that integrates a modern electric fireplace with a warm natural wood aesthetic.
The entire wall was finished with vertical wood slat panels, creating depth and texture while maintaining a modern minimalist appearance. A linear electric fireplace anchors the lower section of the wall, while a large mounted television becomes the central focal point of the space.

Design Concept
The design follows a modern media wall approach where the television and fireplace are integrated into a single feature wall.

Custom Mantel Fabrication

The client requested a mantel that would align perfectly with the proportions of the fireplace and television. Because of this, the mantel beam was built specifically for this installation rather than using a pre-made element.
To ensure the mantel blended naturally with the wall design, a two-layer stain process was applied. This allowed the final color tone to match the wood slat panels while maintaining natural wood grain visibility.
The result is a mantel that feels integrated into the wall rather than placed on top of it.

Electric Fireplace Integration
A modern linear electric fireplace was installed beneath the mantel.
