Project Description

This custom fireplace media accent wall was completed in Sarasota, Florida and designed as a fully integrated entertainment center. The project combines a built-in cabinet, electric fireplace, vertical wood slat accent wall, and floating shelves with integrated lighting.

The lower section features a custom-built cabinet finished with professional cabinet-grade enamel paint. The electric fireplace is seamlessly integrated into the cabinet, creating a clean and modern focal point. On both sides of the cabinet, hidden doors provide access to a subwoofer and additional storage. All wiring, media equipment, and connections are fully concealed inside the structure.

Above the cabinet, a vertical wood slat accent wall was installed to add texture, warmth, and height to the space. The TV is mounted directly onto the slat wall, maintaining visual alignment and balance. Two floating shelves with integrated LED lighting were added on the side, providing functional display space and soft ambient light.

This project demonstrates precision carpentry, clean detailing, and a strong focus on hidden technology. Despite the complexity of the build, the final result looks minimal, clean, and architecturally integrated into the living space.
