Grand Custom Built-In Media Wall in Apollo Beach, Florida
This project was completed in Apollo Beach, a prime residential area located between Tampa and Sarasota. The goal was to create a large-scale, fully integrated entertainment center that becomes the focal point of the living room. The result is a custom media wall that combines architecture, storage, lighting, and premium materials in one cohesive composition.
The entire structure was built wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling, forming a true built-in entertainment unit. This is not a decorative panel or simple TV wall. This is a complete system designed around the client’s space, proportions, and daily use.

Central Stone-Clad Feature Wall
The central section of the media wall is finished with textured stone veneer. This creates depth, contrast, and a strong visual anchor for the entire composition. The stone surface frames the TV and fireplace area, making the center of the wall feel solid, architectural, and premium.
The TV, approximately 100 inches diagonal, is mounted at the correct viewing height. Below it, a wide linear electric fireplace runs across the center, aligned perfectly with the screen. The proportions between the TV and fireplace were carefully calculated to avoid the common mistake of mismatched sizing.

Custom Wood Mantel
A large custom wood mantel spans across the central section. This element adds warmth and balance to the stone finish. The thickness, length, and placement were all designed specifically for this wall. The mantel acts as both a visual divider and a functional shelf, tying together the TV and fireplace.
Integrated Niches with Wood Veneer Finish
On both sides of the wall, we built full-height shelving systems with integrated niches. These niches are finished with natural wood veneer, adding texture and contrast against the painted structure.
Each shelf includes built-in LED lighting, creating a warm ambient glow. This lighting highlights decorative objects, enhances depth, and transforms the wall in the evening. The combination of lighting and wood veneer gives the project a high-end, furniture-grade feel.

Base Cabinets and Storage
The lower sections on both sides include built-in cabinets for concealed storage. This keeps the space clean and organized while maintaining symmetry across the entire wall.
The cabinetry is fully integrated into the structure, not added later. This ensures consistent alignment, clean lines, and a true custom built-in look.
